Landing on Vancouver Island from South Africa in 2013, Cari has had an extensive financial management career, including running her own business, so she knows the daily challenges that face busy business owners. Also coming from a teaching background, she likes to educate her clients and guide them through the foreign and complicated world of accounting. Having gained certification with the Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada (IPBC), Cari keeps up her annual accreditation by attending workshops, conferences and online webinars, to continue to learn and hone her skills. Embracing cloud-based technology, she is Quickbooks online certified and exposing herself and her team to the ever-changing and fast-paced world of automated accounting.
South African born Canadian, Wendy is better known in our community as a yoga instructor. However, carrying many years of experience in financial administration, she fills the much-needed role as standby bookkeeper in our busy months. Her administrative experience in numerous different types of enterprises including medical practices and in the tourism industry, adds variety and value to our pool of talent.
Originally from Ontario, Melanie moved to BC and embarked on a long career as a landscape gardener. Seeking change, she returned to school to acquire certification in Office Administration, Accounting and Finance through Discovery College. In order to keep pace with the rapidly changing world of technology, she continues to study and recently earned her Quickbooks Online Pro-Advisor certification. The arts and travel are also her passions, and when she isn’t in the office, you might find her at the ocean, watching live music or theatre.
